Fully Guided Whitetail Deer Hunting
Archery season opens late September running until mid October, followed by a week long muzzleloading season. The regular firearm season starts in late October and runs for approximately five weeks, and is followed again by one additional week of muzzleloader hunting. All deer hunting is done on private and leased land and are stand hunts (tree stands, shooting houses, ground blinds). We hunt deer in a wide range of areas - swamps, cutovers, hardwoods and agriculture. The rut usually starts mid November lasting past the end of the season. At this time of year there is usually snow on the ground most of the time. Fully Guided Black Bear Hunting
New York State supports one of the largest black bear populations in the eastern United States. And, unlike other eastern states, northern NY's vast wilderness and small human population makes for light hunting pressure. You may hunt black bear during archery, muzzleloading and the regular firearm seasons. We hunt largely in swampy habitat and areas of high food density. Combine a late season goose hunt with whitetail deer hunting. All blinds and decoys provided for two mornings of goose hunting Canada and Snow Geese with some puddle duck shooting available. New York State hosts a Spring and Fall turkey hunting season. Spring gobbler season opens May 1st with a two bird limit. Fully Guided Small Game Hunting
There is an abundance of small game in the Adirondacks. Ruff grouse are found throughout the area, and squirrel and snowshoe hare are also present. The grouse season opens mid September and runs until late February. Bobcat and coyote are also found and may be taken during the hunting season.
